  • Hassan A. J.

    Hassan A. J. is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association. He is a writer, editor, and educator. He received his MFA in Writing & Publishing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts where he was an assistant fiction editor for Hunger Mountain Magazine. He was a Creative Writing instructor at Writopia Lab, and a coordinator and judge for the Scholastic Writing Awards. He attended the Yale Writers' Workshop and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. His work has appeared in Montage, Words for Charity, and Tale Time Podcast. He is a winner of the 2019 Wilder Fiction Prize, and the recipient of a 2021 Mari Sandoz Emerging Writers Fellowship. His chapbook of poetry Home After the Maple came out in April 2023.

  • Erin Stalcup

    Erin Stalcup is an editor, educator, and author. She currently teaches online for UCLA and Arizona State, and has taught in community colleges, universities, liberal arts schools, prisons, state schools, and MFA programs in Manhattan, Asheville, Denton, Flagstaff, Montpelier, and Brooklyn. Erin edited the literary magazines Waxwing, Hunger Mountain, and Defunct. She currently lives in central Vermont. You can read and hear some of her work at erinstalcup.xyz.

  • Andrew Hemme

    Andrew Hemme attended Cornell University and while majoring in horticulture there took several writing courses. He’s convinced he would’ve become an English major had he not loved plants and gardens so much. His passions include plants, of all shapes and sizes, visiting gardens large and small and delving into the histories of art & architecture. He is currently a copyeditor at Polyphony Edits.

  • z kennedy-lopez

    z kennedy-lopez is a writer, musician, editor, fermenter, and Scorpio moon with an interest in animals and ecologies, queerness, apocalypses, Adventure Time, and singing Blondie at karaoke. Their work has appeared in Catapult, Foglifter, Autostraddle, and other publications, and once won a six-word story contest judged by Amy Hempel. They're grateful for the support of the Tin House and Writing by Writers workshops and the Can Serrat and Mother’s Milk residencies. Currently based in Lenapehoking (Brooklyn, NY), z has taught writing classes at UC Davis, Rutgers University, the Gotham Writers Workshop, and elsewhere.

  • Polyphony Edits is a branch of Polyphony Writers’ Workshop, a creative writing institute launching in Fall 2023. We are an organization dedicated to serving writers in any stage of their career. We consider the written word as an essential form of personal and cultural expression. As members of the Professional Editors Network (PEN), and the Editorial Freelancers Association (EfA), we aim to deliver editorial services that meets the highest literary and commerical standards.
